January 28th Weekly Pineapple

MATH: While I was out, students worked on adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators. They also began converting mixed numbers into improper fractions and vice versa. We will continue with these skills next week.

ELA: This week in ELA, we were off schedule due to my absences.  I'm back!!!  We will be back on our regular ELA schedule this week.  We will begin  our Literary Analysis Unit.  With Black History Month approaching, students will be receiving their Black History Projects soon.  Also we are running low on Lysol/Clorox Wipes, we could really use some donations.  Thanks in advance.

SOCIAL STUDIES: This week we learned about the 1920's. We learned about new inventions and how great the beginning of the 1920's was for people during that era. Unforuntunately, they did not see the Great Depression coming at the end of the 1920's.
